How a name number is calculated
Each letter of your name has a fixed value. In the Chaldean system, which is used for most name work in India:

Add the values of all the letters in the name you use, first name and surname together. The total is your compound name number, such as 23, and its single digit is 2 + 3 = 5. Both are read: the single digit gives the planet, and the compound number adds its own meaning.
What name number analysis checks
- Agreement with your Mulank and Bhagyank. A name number ruled by a planet friendly to your date of birth numbers supports you. An unfriendly one creates friction.
- The compound number. Some compounds are considered strong for success, others are considered heavy.
- First name alone, if that is what people call you.
- Every version you use: with or without initials, with a married surname, the spelling on your passport and the one on social media.
